Himalaya Sherpa in Mainz-Kastel

Well, unfortunately we are disappointed. Lots of rice and little chicken. More like rice with sauce. Yeah, we were really looking forward to it, but unfortunately it wasn't particularly good, especially not for this price. Of course we are happy to pay 15 € for good Indian food, but not for this ..

The correctness of the staff is really impressive, the chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables extremely reasonable. There you in no way get the feeling of having dinner in a can like cucumbers. We were blown away by the restaurant across the board. Great cost-performance ratio. We were completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back.

Vegetarian paneer butter masala was delicious but everything else from naan to mango chicken was very watery in the sauce. Price-performance = not in proportion

One of the most delicious indian restuarant around here. The ambience is great and gives you vibe of Himalayan region . On top of it the hospitality is amazing by the chef and the owner. Must try !!

Unfortunately, this is too much adapted to the German palate. When I go to Indian I want to eat spicy and / or exotic. Here it was neither. Whereby they would definitely manage. If I like German cuisine, I'll go for a schnitzel.

I was there tonight and what can I say: I am simply thrilled. The 4-course menu was absolutely amazing. The highlight for me was the main course (duck in mango sauce). There is really nothing to complain about including the service, who was totally friendly and attentive. It was definitely not the last time I was here today.

An impossible shop for me. It fell and it was difficult to find a seat because the lighting in the restaurant was practically switched off. It was eaten in the half-light. We finally switched on the cell phone lighting to recognize anything at all. For a while I thought of a hidden camera ...: D

What a good and tastey in food in Kezel Frankfurt Hotel owner and Chef Suraj can do miracles with dishes. Butter Chicken, Daal Tadka , Special Chicken Masala are just Magical.If you have not tried yet Go and catch it ASAP

The Himalayan Sherpa offers a mix of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. It offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, but also chicken, lamb and shrimp are on the menu. The food was excellent. What is definitely upgradeable, is the ambience. However, this may well be due to the fact that it is a clubhouse. If that does not bother you, you can definitely go for a tasty meal here.

The owner is extremely nice and accommodating but the food is SO slow. I mean, we waited over an hour and only two other tables were occupied. I wouldn't recommend it with small kids, only because it's too much to ask for them to sit at a table as long as the food takes. The food was ok, nothing crazy tasty. The appetizers were a big letdown, but main dishes were tasty. Mango lassi was a hit with the kids. I recommend ordering ahead.

I have visited several times to Himalaya Serpa Resturent and I found this is one of the best and authentic Resturent for Indian foods in mainz and wiesbaden or Hessen. I am highly recommend this place all food lovers.

My visit after Spain, I spent some days in Germany Frankfurt where I found a typical Nepali Restaurant "Himalayan Sherpa" which is in the Mainz Kastel..It was wonderful with Nepali, Indian and Tibetan tasty foods.
